Wow, what a decision process this has been. Back in November we visited a store and selected a jogging stroller and some fancy car seat. Then life happened over the course of several months and Sweetie got down to business when it came to researching safety ratings and overall general customer satisfaction on various stroller brands. He found that this Chicco brand "travel system" was the best bang for our buck and I was sent to purchase it right after Christmas.
Well, apparently the store will sell each piece individually and then all 3 pieces (seat, base & stroller, a.k.a. "travel system") in 1 box for a different price. Guess which one I went for first. Thankfully our friend Ali gave us a coupon she had and we were able to exchange my first purchase of all 3 pieces for the Travel System and get a great deal.
I'm also grateful that Cary went with me the second time around. I had the hardest time trying to pick a color with the original purchase. Green was not the first choice but given the other color selections in the travel system options, it was certainly the best. I actually like it!
Now we just need our cute little baby to fill it up and I'll be on my way! Maybe I should get a few more practices in with folding up and popping it out. I can see it's going to take a few times to get this operation running smoothly.

the travel systems have come a long way. the stroller is not gigantic like it use to be. glad the coupon helped.
