Out of the ordinary

Today was pretty fun, and exhausting at the same time.

Cary and I drove around to several houses in town and judged for the Parade of Homes.

This morning during our (me and E's) normal routine Cary worked from home. Once her mid morning nap and feeding were complete we headed out as a family to begin the big home tour.

It was so much fun to fill out comment sheets and "grade" each home on curb appeal and interior finishes. We even had blue ribbons to hang in the homes on 1 outstanding feature.

Ellery didn't stay with us for very long before we dropped her off with my parents and hit the streets again.

I definitely learned some things about what new home builders are doing now and how we might need to make some slight changes to our house since it's on the market. Some of the homes we toured are our competition!

It was a long day; out of the ordinary but lots of fun. I just loved spending the day with Sweetie and working together.
